Sixth Grade - They build Westfield. 7th graders could choose to stay at AMS or go to Westfield. Sixth graders had no choice. Majority of my friends were from the west side of Route 31 and were therefore, shipped off.
Eight Grade - Talk of switching high school boundaries. Most of us worried we'd have to go to Crown (sorry...)

Scott was going to have to go to Crown and my parents were going to make me go there too because they didn't want two kids in different high schools so close in age... All year I worried about this, as I was again, starting to make great friends as I had in sixth grade. (They allowed the grandfathering in, and lucky for me, Scott chose Jacobs.)
Senior Year - They start tearing apart the school to make more classrooms. Thus, filling in our courtyards, where we liked to spend flex, and making doors that opened to cement walls, as well as lots of other construction. Lovely last memories of a senior year...
I understand your frustration... believe me. I'm sorry you're still stuck in that horrid district. Only another year...
