Hello again Livejournal!
I have not posted here in almost a year. I guess I blame my hiatus on my tendency to stay in touch via Facebook. I have also been neglecting my blogs of late. I think Facebook is a time-suck and it doesn't help that I've let my friends list climb up over 800. I need to purge some folks I don't know.
I hope you're all well out there! I went to a film showing of the theatre production of PHEDRE last night and a friend mentioned one of my Livejournal friends, a fantasy author, had reviewed his book on Livejournal. And I realized I have not checked out Livejournal in way too long.
What do you think, people? Is Livejournal dead? :-D
My last year: my husband and I sold our fixer upper and moved to a smaller house in a much nicer neighborhood, not too far away. I'm teaching at a new place in Albany, a small liberal arts college. and like it so far. Nice to not be commuting every week to Albany, although I kind of miss it, too.
We got a new trailer to live in at Brushwood-it's great and I never want to go back to living in a tent!
My landscaping business is growing a bit and I have some good word-of-mouth recommendations happening.
I have a number of writing projects going on. Just received contributors copies of an anthology of essays on True Blood that I contributed to.
That's all I can think of for now; let me know what you're all doing!
