Apologies for the long long silence....am blaming it on too many year-end parties, too much happening at work, too overwhelming to blog about things that aren't worthy.
It's time to review how 2007 has been & set what 2008 could be for me. So, here're my new year resolutions:
1. to be healthier, leaner, stronger than ever. Yes, I'm talking about physical fitness. I will drag my lazy arse to yoga twice or thrice a week in addition to my once-a-week pole dance class. I want to buy an
X-pole for home practice.
2. to be more open-minded. I want to be able to better analyse & accept things/situations that are outside of my own tiny world.
3. to travel more. This includes going home & visiting siblings overseas. I have a lot of catching up to do with friends & family.
4. to stop implusive shopping. I pledge to only buy things I need or truly love. (Gosh.....this'll kill me big time.)
5. to save money. For my rainy days fund & for my new almost ready apartment.
6. to dress better. I want to build a chic timeless wardrobe that is full of things I would actually wear. But first I need to declutter & reduce my exploding closet.
7. to eat better. More greens & less fried/processed. (This one is easier said than done!)
8. to see the good in people. And this is called 'giving people the benefit of the doubt'.
9. to learn something new. I have no clue on this one as yet but yeah, any suggestions?
10. to be thankful & not take anything or anyone for granted.
Happy 2008 to all.....
