So yeah, hi there.
Today @ work #2, I got to play around on Photochop, making up a sale sign for the line of candles we sell. (Part of the shop is classic kitsch ~ snifferiffic candles and those Willow tree Angels and nifty frames & such.) It came out really cute; we're just going to run it by the boss lady before we post it up. I used the round brush, set at about 200-300 pixel width & about 30% opacity, to overlay some Autumnal tones, then stamped over them w/the leaf brush set @ about 172 in size. It came out really cute. Then we laid out the fonts in Blackadder, Harrington, and Monotype Corsiva, and one other that I can't remember for the life of me... Anyway, it looks cute. You have no idea how awesome it is be able to sit there and go "That's Blackadder....That's Chiller, That's Papyrus" and be right. I used to be much better at picking things apart design wise, but of course, I'm out of practice w/it. Anyway, being able to "play around" on Photoshop and get paid for it makes me happy. My inkwell runneth over with joy. :-)
Tomorrow I work from 11 until 6. Mom is going to be dropping off my shirt @ the day care and hopefully picking up my last check. If they don't give it to her, I will have to take off from work and go up there and set some things straight. This is not one of those instances when I'd call and say mail it. More like another way of incurring verbal manslaughter. *shrug* Meh.
I'm off on Sat! This is great...I was expecting to work, so I'm not quite sure what to do w/myself, lol. I figure I'll head over w/fam and pick up aforementioned headboard. I still need to get supplies for the ruddy thing, and rearrange the desk & room a bit before I can even think of assembling that thing in my room, but one catastrophe at a time, eh?
