“Your sorry eyes cut through the bone,They make it hard to leave you alone”

This is me trying to get back onto livejournal. I updated about four weeks ago but that was just a measly quiz result, nothing of substance really. Updating and commenting on livejournal was fun back in the day. Now that I have a few more friends on my page it might be worth it to get more involved again. Six or seven weeks ago I got into an argument with my dad and left the house, six or seven weeks later I’m back here in my room, typing this out on my own computer. To make it all brief everything is going well with me and my family right now. I think it’s going to stay that way as well. Back to my departure. Lucky for me I have very good friends otherwise I would have been hanging around outside in the woods for six of seven weeks. I definitely owe a lot to Andrew, Corley and Dorothy: for places to stay, ways to get around, people to talk to and most importantly for just being good friends. I had a lot of good times in Athens. Unfortunately I didn’t read as much as I should have or could have, I could have blown through a ton of books with all the free time I had but what can you do. I’ve got a lot of books that need to be read here so I guess I’ll just have to catch up. I do feel a bit wiser after the experience; I think I understand my family a bit better among other things.

Now to some less serious but probably more entertaining subject matter. Spring break…I guess it could be said that I had a seven week spring break but the five days in Myrtle beach are what I’m talking about. Plus when you get back from spring break you usually go back to school and since I’m definitely not doing that I’m not sure how to classify my extended leave of home. Like everyone else (at least I think) I was kind of nervous about going down to the beach with a group of people who out of the eight three I didn’t really know (Meredith, Mike and Kelly). Needless to say everything turned out great and I made a few new friends. Leaving was kind of depressing just because I had such a blast hanging out with everyone. I’m skipping ahead though. The first night was actually not the best for me. I was kind of depressed about the home situation and was a bit stand-offish towards everyone. I started the extremely popular trend of taking, drunk, bitter walks along the beach, alone, at night. Even though there was a little fight or something unsettling going on every night I think everyone had a great time. I wish someone would be able to get the pictures posted onto livejournal I know that there are some hilarious ones. The aquarium and alligator park were awesome as well, I’d go back to Myrtle Beach in a heart beat. Well, I think that’s enough for tonight. This post is definitely not getting any better. Seven weeks of doing nothing but drinking and watching television will take a huge toll on your grammar and vocab skills. With some time and a bit of rehabilitation these things won’t be such a drag to read.
