Opening Credits: Opening (Pokemon Red/Blue)
YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES
…that was my first response, haha. How else could this movie start off?
(Though, movie wise, I'd probably have it be like the anime opening sequence, where it goes from 8bit to real life with a full orchestration, but the full 8bit version is still awesome.)
Waking Up: Meeting and Parting (Pokemon)
Uh, this is normally the music played at the end of a Pokemon episode, when there's all happy feelings everywhere and a lesson was learned. Kinda a strange fit, I guess.
First Day At School: Lucky Star BGM (Techno Remix)
…oh god, so perfect. My life at school is pretty much Lucky Star…I mean, my friends and I have all the random conversations and all the otaku references, so this. Is. Perfect.
Falling In Love: Hot and Cold - Katy Perry
…um? It's not really a love song, I guess, but I can kinda see where it's coming from? But not really, since I always thought of this song as more of a fading relationship than a building one...
Fight Song: It's an Adventure, isn't it? (Euro Mix)
Also known as the first Haruhi opening…uh, sure? I mean, it's techno, which is good…but this is more of a love song than the previous i think...
Breaking Up: This Side of Paradise - Pokemon Destiny Deoxys ending
Another love/friendship song. Uh, what? Um, it talks about how when bad times come you should be strong and go to "this side of paradise"…uh.
Prom : Cosplay! Oh My Honey (Konata + Pati, from Lucky Star)
Oh iTunes, I've lost you. But a Cosplay prom would be amazing…Clara, I'm adding this to your Hare Hare Yukai prom.
Life: Battle Frontier - Pokemon Season 10 Opening
You'e got the right stuff, so make your mind up, and find the courage inside of you…
This fits. I like this.
Mental Breakdown: Come Sail Away - Styx
Yeah, this fits too…even though I hate this song. I don't know why I still have it on here, actually...
Driving: Aishite! Aya Hirano
…I can't find a good translation for this. Maybe… "Love me!"?
…I think iTunes is telling me I need to drive more.
Flashback: Song of Darkness - Kalafina
Wow. Uh, it's a song about looking back and missing somebody you love…but it has a violent sound to it, the violins make it sound like the singer's in pain…
Getting back together: Wake Up Your Heart - Kenn & the NABs
AKA the song sung by Judai Yuki from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX…I really like this song. It's about accomplishing your dreams, which I could see working as a getting back together song.
Wedding: Sure Fire Winners - Adam Lambert
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Ok, uh, wowwww. Wowwwwwww. This is the fight song, iTunes. But hey, I guess this could work as a wedding song, since my future husband and I are going to be super special awesome and this is a song that fits.
Birth of Child: The Legend Comes to Life - Pokemon the Movie 2000 Soundtrack
I love this song ;_; It's the reason I bought an ocarina recently, actually. I can totally see this as a birth song, even though the medley at the beginning is somewhat sad. Out of the three dub movie soundtracks written, this movie/this song have to be my favorites.
Final Battle: Don't say LAZY - K-On!
…um? I don't get this at all…it's about achieving things but also taking breaks because people are people. So if my final battle is going to be me vs. the clock, then I guess this'll work.
Death Scene: Start - Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's
CARD GAMES ON MOTORCYCLES…!!!
Ok, now that that's over with…uh. It's about moving forward and reaching your full potential. I don't know…?
Funeral Song: Hail To The Chief - Michael Giacchino
Finally, some start trek in here…it's a really short song of shimmering strings, aka the clip that plays when Keenser is showing Kirk/Spock to where Scotty is. If this means that my funeral will be like that, then cool! Kirk and Spock are there!
End Credits: S.S. Aqua Theme (Anime Version) - Pokemon Gold/Silver
Uh, it works as credit music, I guess. It's all upbeat and happy, but still has that reflective quality to it. Hurray!
BONUS ROUND:
The After Credit Easter Egg: Star Trekkin'
OH GOD YES. I made this category up, because what movie is complete without a easter egg at the end? I imagine this is where you'd see all the bloopers from my life, maybe with my friends as different characters. I dunno.
