On December 15, the Armenian government approved an inter-governmental agreement on the international North-South Transport Corridor. As a REGNUM correspondent was informed by the press office of the Armenian government, Armenia joining regional projects and programs will create the possibility to restart currently stopped railroad and car traffic in Caucasus region that will connect Armenia to other countries of Eurasia. The project of North-South Transport Corridor was initiated by Russia and Iran and presumes intensification of traffic by constructing new transport communications on route Russia-Iran-India.
