First Few Pics
Here's some of the photographs I took a few days back. Experimented a lot with the Macro focus. Once again, feel free to post your critiques and thoughts if you feel like it.

Clutter on my desk. Used 1/30th at f3.5
Flowers at a friend's place. Was reading that it's actually not good for composition to use the flash to create the blackened background
effect. I like it regardless and I think this one came out nice. I'll probably stick more to the guidelines now. Used a larger aperture.
Shot at 1/15 at f4.5.
Another pic I took at my friends house. Jim, my roomate said he likes this one. Can you guess what it is?
This is a closeup (well obviously) of a bouquet at my friend's house. Think it's his moms. You can't really tell but this is shot from
a top down view.
The following were from the garden outside my apartment. Lighting was good despite it having just rained and the sky being gray.
Experimented a lot with different apertures and shutter speeds and I can't remember exactly which ones I used. Mostly shot at mid to large apertures to create the blurred background.
And finally, the one below is San Francisco. 9th street between Irving and Lincoln. Was there waiting to take pictures to contest an
illegal left turn ticket I got a couple weeks back. Oh wait, too much information, I'll talk about that some other time. Anyways I like
this one despite the blaring shadow on the sign. Refused to use the flash and I didn't have another light source to hit it. Still...
