it's going to be a glorious day
so this morning i woke up for realz at 9. still in my clothes, lei on the wrist and kind of under some sort of sheet/blanket. decide that jack in the box is priority ONE and head out the door.
i had to park outside amy's condo last night (thank you btw :). i have no idea why they have so little guest parking; it's probably because having overnight guests is a sin or something. well, turns out you have to be a car or have a key to open the gates. unfortunately i possess neither of these qualities so i dance in front of the sensor and jiggle the handle to no avail.
then i spot the box that operates the gate... and the part of the fence that holds it to the fence and finally the top with the jagged metal pointy things i KID YOU NOT!!!! since it was 9am no one was going to be driving out anytime soon and i really, really wanted that jack in the box, i hopped right on top of the box and climbed up the fence.
i was all set to hop down, but when i got up there , i remembered that i was wearing a long coat...

then i realized that if i threw my purse down there, i might not be able to get it back if i don't make it down, so i hesitated while stopping myself abruptly. grabbing tightly to the gate pole with my right hand (with a pink lei around it i might add) and the jagged pointy fence bar with my left hand (glittery bracelet as well) and pulled myself back as hard as i could.
DEAR GOD NO!!!!!!
was all i could think! no more damage to the ivysaur!!! 2007 is officially over and we're not having any more of that in 2000 and fucking 8. i regained my composure. i threw down my purse, slowly spun around and hopped to the ground.
i made it!
so i brushed my hands, grabbed my bright teal purse and headed to the car. a guy walked up and laughed "ya know, i would have let you in!"
i smiled, "it's ok" :)
