DRAGGING IT OUT

May 27, 2008 11:45

32 days and counting until try-outs!

Also, staying until 5 is going to be challenging. But... for lunch I think I'm going to head home. I forgot to take my medicine this morning and usually it's no big deal because by the time I get home in the afternoon its fine because I just take it then. But today is a different story. It takes about a half hour in non rush hour train traffic to get home so I can be there and back in a little over an hour, which I think is totally acceptable for a lunch hour's activities.

I'm thinking leaving at one. So I'll get back around two- the time I usually leave, and I'll enter the twilight zone of the three hours between 2 - 5. Some activities to keep me busy today:

Write the lecture for Surrealism and Social Realism
Compile slides for said lecture
Make an accompanying slide list for the lecture
Watch "Good Morning Vietnam"
Make a summer hours sign
Make an "Out to Lunch" sign
Scope out my classroom and check equipment so I don't look like a narbo the first day of class

This is all very do-able I think.
