Arisia '09
Arisia was an amazing time, as always. I regret that I didn't get to spend much time with my lovely girlfriend, but we just had different interests this weekend.
Even though I packed three different costumes to wear, I decided on Friday to be lazy and just wear my sword with a t-shirt. I got more comments on just my sword than I have ever gotten on any costume, and they were mostly comments that led to a conversation that I could have in an intelligent manner, because it's a topic I know a lot about which is readily accessible to most people. My costumes are sitting in the "clean laundry" section of my suitcase right now. (What? Of course I haven't unpacked!)
