So shocktrama and I were sitting in this restaurant today and came up with the best (in our opinion), most insane band ever.
And I've decided to turn it into a meme. So... everyone has to do it. Especially wordmaster73 'cause he's uber-music-dork.
Here's what you do:.
Fill in each "position" with the musician of your chioce. Preferably someone who already has an established musical career. However, that doesn't mean it has to be someone everyone, or anyone, on your friends list has heard of. To give a frame of reference, please include the musical ensemble(s) that the artist is best known for. If it is for solo work, please note that as well.
This can be as outlandish and unlikely as you want it to be. And yes, dead people are allowed. If you absolutely insist, one artist may fill more than one position. (so, your bassist could also be your singer/songwriter.) Feel free to add positions as well.
Anyway, here's what Earl and I came up with:

Keyboards: Dwayne Goettel of Skinny Puppy
Bass: Les Claypool of Primus and 8 million other projects that I don't feel like naming.
Rhythm Guitar: Al Jorgensen of Ministry and Pigface
Lead Guitar: David Gilmour of Pink Floyd
Lead Vocalist/Songwriter: Danny Elfman of Oingo Boingo and...himself.
