I breathe you in, you heal my pain, when you come falling down from grace just like summer rain...

Well. blind_go reveals are up, and so here you have my entry. Not putting an author's note on my fics absolutely killed me, by the way. I have SO MUCH I wanted to say about this story. Lucky all of you, you get to read my comments now! *lol ( Read more... )

One and Two seemed obviously AUs to me, they couldn't fit with each other or the other stories. Three, Four, and Five felt like they could be standalones or part of a sequence. They feel much more of a piece than the first two.

My take on Hikaru's disappearance at the end of One was that he died. In any case, he's dead to Akira. There's such a feeling of Akira helplessly wanting to reach out and not being able to do so, not knowing how, and feeling Shindou slip away from him year by year.

Two is striking because it feels so unexpected, but something which *could* happen.

Yeah, a lot of people thought this was a linear sequence. I was very confused.

Your interpretation of One is certainly viable. That fic makes me sad.

I love Two. I cannot wait to write my Yongha epic which has no title and expand on this idea. It will be awesome.

Thanks so much for reading!

*delurking* -_-" I usually stalk the Hikago fic writers but uhm... I rarely comment so please pardon if it's a long one.

Read this story in blind_go. Man, this 'series' is so amazing. ^_^ I love the first one the best; this line was the best:

Akira waits as the world grows dark around him, and knows with a leaden certainty that this time Shindou has finally lost himself, wherever he has been all this time.

Reading the first was like watching Grave of the Fireflies where you know the inevitable tragedy is coming but you can't do anything about it. This one made me feel like I was trapped in a v. deep well. >_<"
The second was really really great too. I'm puzzled why there are rarely YonghaxShindo fics out there. -__-' This is a great Shindo touya (+Yongha) concoction. The way you describe Touya is how I imagine he would feel. If you're working on a YonghaxShindo fic then Wheee G R E A T O! Loves you even more! I'm curious how this universe of yours will turn out. The other 3 are great but I love your tragedy. -_-"

Please feel free to de-lurk and post rambling comments more often! I love them ^_^.

As for Yongha/Hikaru fics being scarce--I KNOW. I think it's a wonderfully wicked pairing to explore, and I can't understand why no one has really done so yet. I mean, it's right THERE. I hope my writer's block goes away soon so I can write my epic, which includes Yongha/Ogata, Yongha/Hikaru and Yongha/Yashiro *lol* Won't that be shiny?

Anyway. Thanks so much for reading and please keep doing so!

God, Maya, these stories are gorgeous. I love that intense sense of yearning that fills them, especially in one, two & three. I love the peace and intimacy of four and five, too. I love how you write Akira, this difficulty with expressing his feelings, his tenderness, his annoyance ^^ Lovely writing. The structure was very interesting, I love these kinds of "five times..." and it works very well here as well. I think my favourite one was two ♥

First of all... YAY ANNE-ELISA IS READING MY FICS AGAIN! JOY!!!

Ahem. Now then. I'm really glad you like Two. As I mentioned, it's my favorite too. It's such a MESS, and you know how much I love those *lol* Also, I'm glad I got Akira right. I had to borrow the muse from someone else ^^;;;;;;;;;;;

Thanks so much for coming out of hibernation ^_^.

Got here on tsukizu's rec and am I glad I did! This was such a lovely piece. There was angst and yet it left me smiling and feeling content. The boys are perfect here. Thank you for a great read. :)

Thank you for reading! I figured I'd balance out the angst with a well-placed happy ending... seems to have worked, as most people express contentment after having read this fic. By all means, do keep reading! I'm delighted to have you (tsukizu is a darling and I probably don't deserve half the praise she heaps on me, but we'll never mind that at the moment *lol*).
