Pledge for College
I decided from now on, from time to time, I am going to post my knowledge and opinion about colleges and stuff related to it. It would be nice if all you cwazy ppl who read my lj would post some stuff up here too, since I'm still pretty clueless where I want to go. But let's just say Northeast and upper Midwest is where I'm likely to end up (maybe Brown University?? Gosh, I don't know -_-;;).
College post 1: So I was looking through this magazine article I have about Northwestern University near Chicago. That place looked so cool, and really academicly challenging w/o being hell, and I was really attracted to it. But what do you know? That place is full of wealthy, spoiled people who are unapologetic about it (Not my type of people... I know it's a stereotype, but that kind of statements are often true when it comes to college). And it doesn't offer my choice of major (International Relations, or IR).
But MOST IMPORTANTLY, the dating scene is notoriously bad, or so the article says. I'm very disappointed... =(.
Party scene is pretty big though. just fyi.
