Chimps and Champs
Wow. So much happening right now. And i'm taken away like a whirlwind.
So this friday my dad gets a new car, Honda's Acura. It's one of those cars that wealthy upper-middle class middle-age or older people likes to drive. He could get it only coz we didn't have to pay for it.
And then on Sunday he crashes it. BADLY. Way to go. At least you're safe. No you can't die yet, because you're the only source of my academic funding. On top of that, good thing it wasn't your fault. If it was, it would've meant me forced to go back to my country, leave and terminate everything I have here in U.S., that I gained, with sweat and tears.
Weekend got consumed with school quartet. Friday night was goddamned AHS fine arts festival that most everyone didn't want to do. Because I'm in the school quartet, I had to perform for both orch AND quartet. Really tried my patience that night.
Saturday I had to go to Salado to do a wedding gig for Ms. Wheat's daughter. That's a job, so I'm not gonna complain, though it's no doubt it took a lot out of my precious time. But a good experience.
Sunday was CHAMPS concert (CHAMPS is the program led by Mr. Rudie that endorses our school quartet). Quality of every group's performance is high, no doubt. But I hate that thing so much! And Rudie too! There were many Asians too. Many people I don't know, and sompe people that I actually know are fine, but there are couple individuals that makes me sick to the stomach just by looking at them. Stupid chimps.
But for now, I'm happy that the CHAMPS is over. The very brief crisis of me leaving U.S. is over.
