The clearing behind the barracks this afternoon, if that is suitable. The matter is not pressing. I have been remiss in my promise to you. It should be corrected.

That would be fine with me, but you don't need to apologize for anything. With everything that's been going on over the past few months, I could hardly fault you for being otherwise occupied. I've certainly been busy enough as well.

I'll see you there in a few hours.
[And, like he said, he'll be along later that afternoon, dressed casually though with his rapier on his hip just in case this "something" Sigmund wants to show him has to do with sword practice, as he suspects it might.]
When Richard arrives, Sigmund is kneeling with the blade laid across his lap, buffing a spot of dirt off with the hem of his (embroidered, probably silk) tunic. Priorities. His are special. Don't worry, Richard, his usual sword and shield are leaning against a tree behind him.]
[Richard has seen some impressive weapons in his day. A double-bladed saber that can be separated into a pair of guns, a staff that doubles as a rifle, a cross between a sword and a boomerang... but never a sword quite that size before. Don't mind him just stopping to stare at it for a moment, Sigmund. He's still not sure how anyone could actually lift that thing, let alone use it in battle.]
Clunk. This is the sound of a giant hunk of metal hitting the ground. He's not all that surprised, but it's still a little embarrassing that he can barely lift it even with a concerted effort.]
I'd say this weapon is more effective on oneself than on one's enemies.
[Even though he doesn't seem to be struggling with it, it still takes Sigmund two hands to lift the thing. Richard doesn't have to be all that embarrassed.] Would you care to spar?
[Isamu's around to keep an eye on Naoki, who seems to be doing better anyway, so Richard won't feel too guilty leaving him for a bit.]

[He's coming closer to get a better look at the blade. It's an impressive weapon, there's no denying that.]

You should be familiar with as many weapons as possible.

It requires training and discipline. ...And a great deal of strength.

More strength than I have at the moment, apparently.
