Один мой день в Непале/ One my day in Nepal

(Rus) Как многие знают, 2.5 года я в Непале. Но в этом посте я не собираюсь рассказывать как и что, а просто хочу сделать фоторепортаж одного моего самого обычного дня. Идея пришла из одноимённой группы в ЖЖ, куда я написала, но мою историю там почему-то не опубликовали. Думаю, всё-же кое-кому будет интересно. Итак.
Живу я в Гималаях на маленькой пермакультурной ферме. Сплю на дощататом настиле, над сеновалом. Просыпаюсь в будние дни в 5.15 утра и в просвет между тентовой стеной и крышей смотрю что там с погодой:
(Eng) As a lot of you knows, i am in Nepal for 2.5 years now. But in this post i dont want to discribe how i end up here and why, i just want to make one photo report about one of my absolutly ordinary days in Nepal. I got this idea from the LJ group named "My one day" where many different people writing about their days. I try to publish this story there, but did no succeed, but still i think it will be maybe interesting to reed for some of you.
So. I live in Himalayas at small permaculture farm. I sleep at mezzanine above hayloft. I get up at the working week days at 5.15 am and look through the gap in the wall how is the wether outside:
(Rus) Принимаю холодный душ, Диди (по-непальски "старшая сестра") уже сварила на дровяной печке кофе, она и Чарли отправляются доить коров.
(Eng) I take cold shower and Didi ("the older sister" in Nepali) already had made coffee at the wood stove. After the coffee Didi and Charlie are going to milk the cows.

(Rus) Я беру молоко, орехи, собранные накануне огурцы и тыкву и отправляюсь на старом добром Kawasaki за 45 км в столицу Непала - Катманду.
(Eng) I take milk, almonds, pumpkin and cucumbers and with the old kawasaki bike going 45 km away, to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.

(Rus) Всего 15 минут водных "приключений" и я на хорошей дороге!
(Eng) Just 15 minutes of water adventures and i am comming to a good road!

(Rus) Если выехать не позднее 6.30 утра, то не попадаешь в пробки и не стоишь на перекрёстках и светофорах. Но сначала я заезжаю в ближайший старинный городок Панаути, один из немногих, полностью уцелевших и сохранивших свою уникальную архитектуру и атмосферу после землетрясения 2015 года, старинных городков. Заезжаю на рынок, сдаю огурцы и тыкву (0.3$ за кг) и отправляюсь дальше.
(Eng) If to leave the farm not later then 6.30 am, there is almost no trafic on the road. But first i stop at the market of Panauti town. The old Nepali town, one of very few around, which havent been damaged after the earthquake 20015. Panauti has its own ancient atmosphere, i think it did not change much last 100 years or more. At the market of Panauti i am dropping cucumbers and pumpkin and contineu my trip.

(Rus) Перед выездом на трассу останавливаюсь, надеваю маску и очки. В Непале нет норм на выхлопные газы, а потому наряжаться нужно как на Луну.
(Eng) Before comming to a highway i stop at the side of the road, to wear a mask. There is no traffic fumes control in Nepal, so driving here you have to dress as cosmonaut in space.

(Rus) На трассе самое страшное это грузовики и автобусы. Они подрезают, обгоняют, тормозят перед носом, стартуют с обочины на крайний правый ряд почти под 90 градусов и вообще ведут себя крайне непредсказуемо. Остальное ерунда.
(Eng) The most scary things on the Nepaly highway are the trucks and the busses. They are trying to cut you off, braking in front of you, starting from the side of the road to the very right line almost at 90 degree angle and doint the other unpredictable trick. The rest is okay.

(Rus) В Катманду я еду в центр города, в район Лазимпат, корейский ресторан Oshell. Пью кофе с владелицей ресторана Jade и отправляюсь в Университет.
(Eng) In Kathmandu i am driving to the city centr, to the Lazimpath district, to Korean resturant Oshell. I dring coffee with the owner Jade and after i am going to the Universaty.

(Rus) В Университете Катманду я изучаю непальский язык. Обычно в 9.30 я уже в классе делаю домашнее задание.
(Eng) in the Universaty of Kathmandu i am studying the Nepali language. I usually come to the class at 9.30 a.m. and have time to do my homework.

(Rus) Наш преподаватель др.Мукунда Патик - замечательный человек и один из лучших учителей в Бишва Бхасе, мне повезло, что я попала в его группу. Но опаздывает др.Мукунда каждый день на занятия примерно на полчаса. Это часть непальской культурной традиции, которая называется "Nepali Time".
(Eng) Our teacher dr.Mukunda Pathik - is one of the best teachers in Bhishwo Bhasa campus and i am very lucky to get into his group of students. But every time dr.Mukunda Pathik about 30 min late to the class. It is the part of Nepali culture, which called "Nepali Time".

(Rus) Начинаем урок с проверки домашнего задания. Так др.Мукунда выясняет что мы поняли, а что нет, и остальное время мы закрепляем непонятое.
(Eng) Usually we begine the class with checking our homework. this way our teacher can understand what we didnt get and the rest of the class we are trying to improve and understand our mistakes.

(Rus) В нашей группе 29 человек. Регулярно посещают 20. Из них абсолютное большинство корейцы. несколько испанцев (Каталонцев), три японца, несколько человек из Мексики и Чилли, одна американка и один немец. Возраст от 18 до 60.,
(Eng) There is 29 people in our group, but only 20 are comming. The biggest part of the group are koreans. There are few spanish (Catalonia), three Japanise, a few people from Mexica, Chilli, one women from US and a guy from Germany. The age of the students is from 18 yo till 60.

(Rus) Сегодня пятница, а по пятницам в нашей группе ритуал еды, потому что тема еды вообще в Непале передавая. Здесь даже приветствие не "добрый день или утро", а "поел ли ты уже, или нет?" - любая встреча и разговор по этикету должны начинаться именно с этого вопроса. Итак, по пятницам один человек приносит угощение для всей группы. Сегодня очередь японки Сачико Сан и она угощает нас фруктами.
(Eng) Today is Friday and on Fridays we are having the food rituals in our group. The food topic is one of the most important in Nepal. Even during the meetings or conversations the first question you have to figure out with Nepalies is not "how are you" but "have you already eaten"? So, on Fridays one person from the group have to bring some food for everybody. Today Japaneese lady Sachiko San brin the fruits.
(Rus) Занятия заканчиваются в 11.30, и если сразу выехать на трассу, то попадаешь в непальский обеденный перерыв, а это значит снова без особых пробок. Выезжаем на дорогу в Тибет.
(Eng) Our classes at Universaty are finishing at 11.30 a.m. and after it is better to go back to the road immidiatly, as it is Nepali lunch time and the roads again not so busy. So, we are again on our road to Tibet.

(Rus) В Бхактапуре заезжаю на "свою" заправку. Почему-то если заправляюсь в другом месте, то байк потом весь день глохнет. Бензин в Непале двух видов - "disel" и "petrol". Но ни того, ни другого сегодня в городе нет. Бензин везут из Индии, а потому если забастовка или обвал на дороге, бензина в Катманду может не быть неделю. Чёрный рынок, однако, никто не отменял, ценой втрое дороже, разумеется. А так "petrol" 1$ за литр.
(Eng) i stop at Bhaktpur petrol station. I always trying to get petrol here, as somehow if i go to the different petrol station, my bike stop starting. The petrol in Nepal is of 2 tipes "disel" and "petrol", but non of it today avalible. Petrol is comming to Nepal from India and if there is strikes at the border or the lendslide, it is possible there will be no petrol up to 1 week. But still you can get some at the black market in tripple price. Normally the petrol cost is 1$ per liter.

(rus) Подъезжаю к городу Банепа мимо самой большой в Мире статуи Шивы - Харе Харе Махадев!
(Eng) On the way i am passing by the biggest statue of Siva in the World! Hare Hare Mahadev!

(Rus) Банепа - ровно полупути до фермы. Останавливаюсь в придорожном кафе выпить традиционного непальского молочного чая с традиционным паффом. И еду дальше.
(Eng) Banepa town is half way to the farm. So, i stop over the road caffe to drink some traditional Nepali Milk tea with puff and after i continue my way.

(Rus) Всего полтора часа пути и я снова в Панаути. Останавливаюсь у дорожного магазинчика купить фруктов. В сентябре в Непале на прилавках бананы, папайя, гранаты, яблоки и остатки манго от завершённого мангового сезона.
(Eng) Just 1.5 hour after i left Kathmandu and i am back to Panauti. I stop at the fruit shop to buy some fruits. September in Nepal is the time for bananas and papayas (which are here through the whole year, apples, pomergranates. The mango season is just over.

(Rus) Кто-то перегородил мне выезд своим байком. Беру этот байк двумя руками за задний поручень и выдвигаю его поперёк дорожной части. И уезжаю, потому что задвигать обратно уже не могу.
(Eng) Someone blocked my bike. I take the obsticale with my 2 hends, pull it to the middle of the road and leaving, as have no power to pull it back again.

(Rus) Осталось совсем чуть-чуть. Но я всё равно, как всегда мысленно себе напоминаю на всякий случай, что никуда не спешу :)
(Eng) It is very little bit of driving left. But still i repeating to myself that i am not in hurry :)

(Eng) I am comming back to the farm at 1 p.m. and Charlie is waiting with the Coffee.

(Rus) Остальное время этого дня я гуляю с коровами, потому что это отличный предлог поучить непальские слова, либо.. либо.. много всего. проверяю интернет иногда.
(Eng) The rest of the day i walking with the cows as it is very good time and reason to study some Nepalie words. Sometimes when there is electrocity i am checking internet..

(Rus) Вечером обычно мы вместе готовим ужин. Иногда вдвоём, но чаще с волонтёрами - друзьями - гостями. Народу приезжает много.
(Eng) In evening we are cooking dinner together. Sometimes just Charlie and I, but most of the times we have volunteers or friends visiting the farm.
(Rus) В выходные (которых в Непале официально 3-4 в неделю) я веду йогу для постояльцев фермы, занимаюсь соц. проектом Trees for relief. И что там ещё можно делать на Горе.. ;)
(Eng) In my weekends (which oficially in Nepal is 3-4 days a week) i am leading yoga for our guests, or working for the Trees for Relief school social project.. And what else you can do at the hillside.. ;)
