okay, so.
i was writing a post on the laptop earlier this week when it died on me, after being returned from best buy literally the day before. this is what i wrote:
hi there lj. long time no post. the laptop has been off getting the motherboard replaced. again. it took over two weeks it feels like. anyways.
i have been REALLY sick. my birthday was february 7, and i was not feeling well before then. i stayed home from school a few random days because i was dizzy and nauseous and just didn't feel right.
next week i am still not going back to class - it will be my 4th week of missed classes. i'm going to withdraw from all but one of my classes so i don't lose all my financial aid.
so the illness. nausea soon turned to vomiting and diarrhea, which got worse and worse, and then it got totally better... until last tuesday night when i was awake from 11:30 til 7am running to the toilet literally every two minutes. and to make it that much better i was doing an 8 hour food/water fast for an abdominal ultrasound the next day. oh, the massive dehydration. my doctor called me around 8 to say "drink water you crazy woman!"

that's when the lappy died. luckily lj restored the draft. um. i've been sitting at the desktop too long and i have to go lie down. but i will post more, hopefully more coherently, later today.
just fyi - i'm not puking or really having diarrhea anymore. yay!
