We were able to put a deposit on our new residence yesterday and can start moving in at anytime. I plan to go over there tomorrow and steam clean the carpets (joy). The water and power is already on over there which is very convenient. So that new(ish) bedroom suit that's been collecting dust in the basement can be moved over and a few other big pieces of furniture as well. Then I'll be able to take car loads over as boxes are packed. This will be helpful in getting me to decide what we can keep and what won't fit. I'd hate to pack everything up, get over there, and find that I should have gotten rid of a bunch more stuff. So the following week or two will be action packed with yard sales, back aches, and paper cuts I'm sure :B
I have to say it's nice, but it's very very very small. We're taking our refridgerator and I honestly don't know if we'll be able to get it in the door. Same goes for the television. There is no storage whatsoever and this means I'm going to have to get rid of a TON of stuff. The kids' last day of school is Friday which means I will be putting them to work. Which will hopefully keep them out of trouble.
We do have to find a new home for Zoe, though. Which kinda does make me sad. She really is a good dog, but there will be no room for her and I don't want her to be miserable. We just don't know where to take her, and there's no one we know that's interested it taking her off our hands.
I also have no idea where the computer is going to go >.< and that's the only part of all this that really has me a bit freaked out. I don't think there's going to be room anywhere to have 2 comps hooked up. LoL sad isn't it...
But atleast we have a place to move to. I was a bit nervous for a few weeks about this, since the place we originally thought we'd easily get turned us down. Then the second place turned us down... then the third place etc. etc. The stress of the situation was beginning to take it's toll. LoL
stay tuned...
