Proffesional wedding pictures finally! Post the first of couple. Here is the wedding decor. The color scheme was hot pink, hot green, with splashes of orange. YAY!
Welcome to the wedding of Chaela and Shawn!
Close up of the lantern. It was really pretty.
Here are the boards that I made for the seating cards. We had a theme of a kids party all grown up, so rather then having table numbers, we labeled the tables with board game names.
And:
This is what Shawn and I were actually married in front of. My mom bought this quilt from me, and then gave it to us as a wedding gift. (I was going to sell it still). She even paid full price!
See the topiaries? Those were my idea. I LOVE THOSE DAMNED THINGS. Here are some pictures of them:
Another, because I love them so much:
Here is the table setting. That is batik fabric tied around the lollypop, for a little jazz. The favors have a wooden spinning top, a wooden peg game, and salt water taffy.
Here is the centerpeice. It was a wood and glass box, filled with jellybeans, with the flowers in that. The centerpeices went to the youngest person at the table. This was set on a small quilted squares, that I made myself. Those went to the oldest person at the table.
This is the whole table. I regret not ironing all the table cloths. Oh well, too late now :)
And a shot of the room!
Didn't know where else to stick this, but these were my flowers. Funny story. The week before the wedding, it was beautiful and cool and lovely, but the day of the wedding was like, 95 degrees, and you could cute the humidity with a knife. (Remember Joshy?) Thus, my engagement ring wouldn't fit on my right hand. So I tied it on my flowers.
We decided to have cupcakes instead of a big cake. So we did 7 different kinds of cupcakes. Each type of cupcake had a specific flower assigned it, and I made a key, of what flower went to what cupcake. So here are a couple cupcake shots.
And another:
YAY!
