update
So i haven't updated in a while.. april is the worst month for music majors.. well really for all majors, but.. bassoon to face all week long.. right now i'm taking a practicing break.. this week i have to play the mozart bassoon concerto for the bassoon professor from eastman who is coming to give a masterclass.. i'm kind of stressed out.. a little.. when I get really stressed a random part of me will start twitching.. this time its my left eye.. after about an hour of practicing tonight my eye was out of control.. and i was like.. okk.. break time..
life has been ok, i mean.. kind of mediocre.. the fact that there are only 3 weeks left is sort of bittersweet.. 1 hand i have a dumptruck load of shit to do and learn and pay for and take care of.. and on the other hand i have 3 weeks until I can calm down a little bit..
the only thing keeping me running is knowing that i got into at least some summer festival.. one that not everyone at baylor got into so.. that makes me see a little ray of hope.. plus the professor there just got appointed to a professorship at Indiana which.. wouldn't be a bad masters school.. totally luck..
I want a bassoon. how exactly am I supposed to come up with 28,000 real quick though?.. kind of stressing me out that I need to come up with 28,000 in less than a year.. maybe i should pursue a texas lotto winner.. and steal their money.. or marry a very old oil tycoon widow..
old peoples tongues are really gross.. especially when old people lick their lips.. they dont' realize how slow they're licking.. so its like a chalky sandpaper slug saying hello.. for almost a minute..
I got to see my dog for easters.. and my sisters.. and i spent a lot of time with my dad.. just my dad because toni and kaitlin were in new mexico.. soo it was good father son bonding.. he could tell i was really stressed out because he kept asking if everything was alright.. but i just get.. stressed and quiet.. but we broke out my nice microscope and were looking at ants and misquito larvae and algae and protozoa.. he was fascinated that ants eyes are broken into hexagons just like they show insect eyes in the movies.. it was funny..
i'm doing ok.. i'm goign to be ok.. i will sell the house today.. i will sell this house today.. i love that movie.
