i found this movie on showtime called "the business of being born"...it discusses the OPTIONS you have as a person about to give birth...
i think most ladies are so scared to actually give birth naturally now - they go get their epidural and c-section before thinking about the options...and the WAY that God created us to give birth.
Is it pleasant? probably not!
But i'm totally convinced that i'll be having a midwife...and i want as little intervention as possible...there is so many things about a birth that is empowering and *natural* about the process...
Our bodies are MEANT to do this...
doctors are great, SOMETIMES needed....but this is overwhelming good information...
so rent it, dvr it...
get some info!
No, i'm not getting pregnant anytime soon - but this is for ANY WOMAN to gather information. Make some decisions about what you want...pray about it...research it....don't cheat yourself out of an experience!!!! :)
