Last nite...we put our hands together...and started with some wire straightening...and ended up stuffing large tentacles for the upcoming visit from the giant squid. You can prolly see him coming up the stairs here:
I squished and stuffed and rocked out to blue man...i hope no one minded...but i surely got butterflies in my stomach in an atmosphere to be creative..AND listen & watch one of the most awesome experiences of my life. the complex rock tour 2003.
After 10pm...i had done all i could w/ the tentacle and we took a few pics of the work...laying about...
and again, the squid coming up the stairs. lol! Julie & I waited for Hal to return to see what would happen when he saw the tentacles. lol! picture time! oh yea.
Hal took an awesome picture of me...and i was just kinda making this geometric shape w/ my hands & arms...and it came out very much like an angel with wings.
After that...the red wig became a part of our laffter...along with one of George's metal masks...i dunno what happened...but i had fun...i had one whole light...and was using a camera i had never touched before, it was awesome. The pictures came out very smoky and eery..."in a good way"...such were hal's words. lol! I absolutely LOVED these pictures...esp. when he pulled out a ciggy & the smoke started curling.
this was TOTALLY fun, i used hal's camera to take this...and yes, that is my red wig. lol!
Julie's turn was next...and it was the hair flip...and kewl neon colors outside...i have to say the hair flipping was beyootiful. such simpleness...there are days where i strive for this! man! I wanna re-create what i found last nite I here at my house too! We'll see...i'll work on it...*smile* If ideas come, i'll move it forward. That is how...it should be. :)
