D Minus 14:30 Hours
So, I think I'm completely packed for Dreamation 2009.
Game Bag: Dice, notebooks, writing implements, badge-holder, ZoZ demo kit (made for GenCon 2008), S7S quicky-material and spiffy character sheets, PDQ# download and some ideas for a space opera game, Xenolithik alpha playtest material.
Clothes (et al.) Bag: Clothes for the weekend, ditty bag, phone charger, extra packs of cigs, shelf-stable foodstuffs (peanut butter), and a book (Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing and Horror Cinema: A Filmography of Their 22 Collaborations).
Left TO DO before I leave around 9:30-9:45 AM for Chez Hicks: Run the dishwasher, leave a note for Tom (kitteh watcher), feed cats, set up automatic coffee pot for the Ayem, check again what people have already pinged that they want me to play in at the con, SLEEP, eat some kind of breakfast, check last minute emails/LJ, shut down 'puter, verify I'm not forgetting anything vital, secure Deluxe Apartment in the Sky-y-y.
On Drive Up: Usual gamey/geeky nattering with Fred, determine how much of my limited bankroll I can afford to spend on product, agonize, yammer on about S7S and Dresden matters, eat a Nathan's hotdog (?), nic-fit, marvel at the glory that is New Jersey, etc.
