Just blew the last of my "real" fake money on Poker Academy Online (PAX), because I was playing on tilt. Now I have to enter more freerolls (with "fake" fake money) to earn up a bankroll to play in "real" fake money tournaments.
Some straight dope for the uninit, yo:
1. None of this money is real. I am not using any real dollars or cents to play here (other than buying the program back in Oct/Nov). So, no worries, k?
2. "Freerolls" means PAX gives you some fake-fake money to play a tournament with. If you end up "in the money" (placing a certain level in the rankings) you get real-fake money, which can be applied to non-freeroll games.
3. The hazards of freerolls include the fact that since it's fake-fake money, people play CRAZY.
4. It took me like 2 weeks of freerolls to build up a big enough bankroll (of real-fake money) to enter real-fake money tourneys.
So, yeah. That's what's up.
