Comic Books on IPR

My friend oletheros is self-publishing some graphic novels, and now the first one -- Weapons of Devotion, the first book in the Oceanus Procellarum series -- is available on IPR.

From his post:
"The hidden knowledge is that when a character first appears in the new narrative, he is in character and stays that way. However, when he encounters the truth in a story, he remembers where he came from. Where he was before, which other characters he had been. The fact that he was a character in the first place."

It was time for a change.

But how do you walk away from your job when your duties consist of chasing down rogue characters that have decided to wander from story to story?

I'd also recommend his ADULT (that is, NSFW) short graphic novel, This is Not Viva Lars Vegas, which is about:
Joachim Willard is having a bad year. But he's just received a press release from someone named Lars Vegas, who claims to be a former fertility demi-god, living in Amsterdam. This demi-god is protesting the remake of Viva Lars Vegas!, a movie about him. Willard doesn't really want to visit Amsterdam again, but the story is just too good to pass up.

Both works are mixes of traditional art and photomanipulated fumetti.

Check 'em out!
