Today at the leashless dog park a man named John who's known at the dog park as "the mayor" once again said something brilliant. Firstly, a bit of insight into John. John is a 40 something tradesman who loves his dog Missy. He's a lean, unshaven and chain smoking bloke who wears his work gear on his days off and has a long neck of coopers in his right hand as almost an extension of his arm. John is one of those people who is everybodies mate unless your a dickhead, a well rounded positive bloke that knows something about everything. He's one that some people tend to discard initially because of his sailor tongue and incessant dialogue. He talks more than a drunk American stereotype and to engage him is always a commitment.
So a group of us were talking about CERN and joking about how science will finally swallow us up and how ironic it will be because in that fraction of time everything will succumb to oblivion and be erased. Nothing that we can comprehend will have a single memory of our galaxy's beautiful history. And what makes that ironic? No God. HAHAHA!
Anyway John adds, and I'll try to transcribe the best I can,
"Yeah but if this hydro collider creates some fucking black hole it's only gonna be fuck all in size. We just leave the fucking power on and let all those magnets and fucking cold units keep the cunt small.
That'll take heaps of power though but. The project started as a billion dollar international fuckin' idea is now a multibillion, multinational fucking power project to keep the cunt small..."
"Meanwhile, every fucking country's priority is towards feeding the fucking machine, while ordinary shit kickers like us starve like cunts. It's a bit of a sci fi thriller hey..."
Out of the eight dog loving friends none of us encouraged John that his idea would make for a great Science Fiction Thriller, even though that was what I was thinking.
