alright, so here is what happened last night...i am on my way to pick up the stangle girls to go to the hot tub, and this cop starts following me. the last 3 times i've been on campus, they have followed me so i didn't think anything of it this time. i thought they just try to scare people. oh but not this time. i pull into the stangle parking lot and wait for the girls, and the cop pulls up next to me and gets out. flashes his little flashlight on me trying to intimmidate or something, and asks me "u mind opening up that cooler?" so i say sure why not, he was going to look anyway. well i still had the beer leftover from last weekend in there. he told me to put them on the hood of his car and he starts writing me an MIP. I told him he should have waited til i actually drank them, so he coulda got me for a DWI too. I guess he was a panzy cop so he called for backup and the other cop that showed up was really cool. we started "shootin the shit" as nichole says it haha. he asked about all the shotgun shells in my truck and asked if i hunt and what kind of guns i have. i asked him what happens from an MIP and he said its a fine of $1-$500 depending on the judge, 30-day drivers license suspension, and a one day MIP class. i'm still contemplating telling my parents or not. as of now i'm like 95% NOOOO and 5% MAYBE 0% YES. i'm thinkin if i tell the judge its my dads truck, b/c it IS in his name, i could say i had no idea what was in the back of the truck. on the other hand, i can just go accept the punishment and never let my parents find out. well thats the scoop. i felt like shit last night, but i think it'll be alright. the cute girl from my stats class kinda cheered me up a little. she said she's known lots of people get them and the fine is usually $250 and they don't suspend your license unless you are a repeated offender. so if you have had one or known someone who has had one, let me know what they typically do. it will help me decide whether i wanna tell my parents or not.
