my dad took me to lunch yesterday and then dropped me off at the mall for a few hours. we talked about barry bonds, the ncaa tournament, my plans for leaving, the army, going back to school. he told me how he'd worked forty-eight hour weeks at a truckstop in eastern washington, 3-11 and took classes in the mornings. my mom used to drag him out of ( Read more... )

so i'm finally reading this, and man i want a taxi's shake and fries right now! but instead i had spaghetti. today i went to depositions. you know that kid who was suing me for $40k? well he's still suing me, but now it's down to $30k. he claims he was just walking across the street and i made a rolling stop into him. my lawyer thinks he'll end up getting his $3k doctor(oh wait, lawyer referred chiropractor) bills plus a few more thousand. oh well, at least i have insurance right?

check out this website though. www.dialoguedirect.us
this girl forced herself on gus and i downtown the other day. she was trying to get us to sponsor a kid for childrens international. she kept saying "it's not about the money, it's about how big your heart is!" but wait, doesn't it cost money to sponsor a kid? and then she told us about some of the kids and they all had at least 6 siblings, and all i could think about was how these people could really use some free birth control. she kept making assumptions about us like "you guys looks arty, you can draw pictures to send to the kid!" and "oh, you're married. you must be thinking about having your first kid soon!"
finally gus agreed to sponsor a kid but we were saved because they only take credit cards and he has none. at the end of the whole thing she actually said "a conversation like this one usually results in at least 2 kids being sponsored" i should have told her about neko case's idea to feed children to the tigers.

those people all hate Kristen. She always asks if there is anyway to help their organization that doesn't involve donating money, like volunteering or something. Surprise, surprise, there isn't! Those people suck!

didn't the kid just walk away, and then decided to sue after he told his mom about it? i think we should feed her to the tigers. they should have a tiger pit in the courtroom, and if your lawsuit is deemed frivolous, the judge presses a button and a trapdoor opens...

that girl sounds kind of ruthlessly retarded, but children's international isn't so bad, actually. tracy decided to sponsor a girl from ecuador, and it was pretty cool to get letters from her.

hey, you should send me your email address.
