The oven is on fire.
So my Mom and I nearly burned down our kitchen this morning. Evidently, someone (read: me) forgot to clean out the oven last time I used it and while she was preheating, the grease caught fire. Luckily nothing happened, I threw potting soil on the burning puddle of grease, which put out the fire but left the kitchen (and the house) smelling pretty gross.
West Covina has been cool. I'm starting to get into the step of things, and I really, REALLY love the customers there much better. But I miss my co-workers over at the 2106. For sure.
Speaking of which, tomorrow I'm going to talk with the SM to see if I can milk any more cash out of them. LOL. And, also ask for Saturday 2 Sept. Or at least Sunday 3 Sept. Most of my family is leaving on Friday, but I was on slickdeals today and found some AWESOME Southwest deals that are like $55 one way. VEGAS, baby!
