First Week of School, Continued

It's Labor Day, yet I am so unlaborious. If that's even a word. I just got home from dinner with the parentals and fam and what not. I didn't eat all day so the sushi and walnut shrimp tasted good. I'll recap on the rest of the school week and then I gotta hit the books and maybe veg out in front of the TV.

Wednesday. This is the busiest day of the week. I got to school early and praise God I got parking in the Law School structure. Japanese was fun again, Cook Sensei is awesome. Next was Gender and US Politics seems like it will be a more interesting class if I start bringing my laptop in to take notes with. And Interpretation of the New Testament goes by really quick because Ned Flanders is engaging and philosophical.

Finally it was time for Luevano's class. DUDE. Haha. He's one crazy priest, but that's a good thing. I really expect this class to be interesting, except for the paperload. But, its college, you have to get used to it, right?

Thursday. I had work 9a to 3p then it was off to Theories of Persuasion. We already have a group project due this week. Which should be fun because Tiffany is in my group. Professor Trickett is cool, she seems like every other professor at Chapman: a smart liberal waiting to drill in some sense into the bleached blonde Republican heads of students. Class was short, which was great, because I had time to hang out and pre-game with Amelia and Claire before Margaret Cho at Memorial Hall.

Margaret was freaking great. I guess it was a bad idea to go with a bunch of drunk Republican Asian girls, but eh, everything looks better in hindsight. Margaret knew what she was getting into, so a lot of her material was like anti-Bush, anti-Right wing political stuff. And I'm glad she did it. There are students at my school who worship Bush, and its sick to be around sometimes. I just hope that she made a difference. And made us laugh to death in our seats. Political comedy is worth so much more (and is difficult to execute) because it takes a smarter knife to cut that loaf, if you know what I mean.

Friday. I woke up early but then Moms had me do things so I left the house at 10:35 and freaked out that I'd be late. Although I did end up five minutes early to class, probably because I found parking in the Argyros Lot. Japanese class went by quick, I learned how to say things. Duh. Afterwards, hung out in the Caf with the usuals. I'm thinking about getting a meal plan, but I'm not sure how fiscally sound that might be.

I need new sunglasses, a new laptop, a new TV. And a new job. Eh. I'm still at AE but with this new keyholder, I'm not sure how this will work out. More about that later.
