"End of the Spear" gave Chad a chance to play two unique roles in one film. As Nate Saint, he's a happy young father and missionary who pays the ultimate price for a cause he believed to be right and just. Later in the film he becomes Steve Saint, Nate's son, a quiet, almost dour man who grew up not knowing what really happened to his father

Great, thoroughly angsty shot from a movie I liked far more than I expected.

I expected to barely tolerate this movie, watching it just because Chad's in it.

I also liked it a lot better than I thought I would. It goes to show that when a subject is tackled the right way great things can happen.

I third that! I only rented it because of Chad, and honestly, his performance is the heart of that movie. He played that dual role with such skill that it was easy to forget the same actor had played both father and son. I did end up enjoying it.
