Yay.
Yay for those moments when all of a sudden everything is fine, you realize everything is going to be fine, you appriciate the life you have, and you are struck by the amazingness that is God. At those moments I smile.
So today was pretty good actually, which is probably why Im writing this. It wasnt anything out of the ordinary, it was just good. Its been well below zero for a couple days now so I have to really throw the layers on to be able to make it from Founders(My Dorm) to Meyer(The Science Building) and still be able to call myself a warm blooded creature. Or better known as an Homeothermic Endotherm.
And it snowed all day. And I went to class and got an AMAZING grade on my Judism/Christianity Exam for my Religions class. And I went to the gym and worked out with Sarah and we ran a mile and did the whole lifting thing together. And than I took a shower and went to dinner where they had some GOOD food.
Than I took a little nap and went to the library where I studied for a good three hours. I have my chemistry stuff pretty much down for Thursdays Exam and Im well ahead in my reading over Islam.
Speaking os Islam, very very intrigued by it. I can say im thoroughly amazed at how similiar Islam, Christianity, and Judism all are. I mean same God for all, just differnt practices really.... It makes me wonder how if we are all worshipping the same God, then why cant we get along?
In Eastern traditions, its Ok to blend your beliefs, you may be Buddhist, and Hindu, and Tao... but I was told you cant do that with Western Traditions. Why Not? I want to learn more about Judism and about Islam, and even study my own religion some more. Because I think if you go in head first, and you go in deep, in all three, I think thats when all the answers are going to reveal themselves. And maybe, just maybe its possible to blend the three, or be able to say Im a Jewish Islamic Christian.....hmmm..
Anyways, so on my walk back from the library the snow was still falling and no one was out. And the snow looked like the snow they put out in stores during Christmas. And I saw a light post... and the light post + the snow + the moment made me realize how amazing life is. And I smiled all the way back to the dorm. And I just LOVE those highs you get from those moments.
