Panel de Pon Craziness, or the Best Video Game to Real Life Analogy Ever
I've been playing Panel de Pon. A LOT (Ida's fault!). I think I'm getting slightly better. I can now beat Normal 1P mode by only continuing two or three times (yes, only - I was pretty bad before). But I played Hard 1P mode and it took me 42 continues just to get through it! AGHHH! I got the ending where, after Cordelia and all the fairies want Lip to become the new Fairy Queen, Lip says, "What? No way! I can't be the Fairy Queen! I have to become better at Panel de Pon. If I can beat the game without continuing then I'll have become good enough." Arghhhhh.
I've also thought of an interesting parallel between Panel de Pon and real life. You know how I'm trying to get better at talking to people? Well, just like when I play Panel de Pon and I'm trying to make chains, I realize just split seconds too late that I should have greeted someone by their name or asked them how school's going or SOMETHING to be a bit friendlier. Ah well, hopefully I'll work on it and get better at making chains/conversation.
