Update... Finally
It's been a while. I just needed to reprioritize things for a while. Now for updates:
My former roommate had no respect for me or my house, and outright ignored my wishes right up to the day she left. Talk about thankless. I'm just glad she left on Friday as I asked her to, leaving behind a few remaining things in storage in my garage. I'm easily walked on (as she understood and took advantage of this whole time), otherwise her stuff would be on the lawn at this moment. Now I understand firsthand why the last person she rented a room from kicked her out.
Trying to get this large project completed before I get any job offers. I figure I might as well justify why they should compete to keep me here (at least financially). It sucks that companys like this one is too big to value individual employees that go above and beyond. This week alone I worked 54 hours. Three weeks in a row of 50+ hours... only one week this year under that!! I wish they'd at least offer to pay me overtime or gave me a bonus for the time I've put in.
Tryouts started yesterday and finish up this afternoon. I'm glad to get back in Coaching... as I need a hobby outside my house. I'm really considering playing for the adult league this year, as well. Hopefully I can find the time.
It's been three months! I've enjoyed every second and consider him a great friend. Love ya.
