In My Mailbox: August 29

In My Mailbox is a meme hosted by Kristi of The Story Siren and was inspired by Alea of Pop Culture Junkie. This meme is about books that you received or bought during the week.
I wanted to do a book buying ban this August. If you've been following my blog, you would've noticed that I haven't done an IMM post in a while. I was successful in not buying any books for the first three weeks of the month and then wham bam, I made up for those three weeks in one fell swoop. I bought these books in the last week of the month:
From a used bookstore in the mall near our house (for a grand total of P136 or less than $3):
One for the Money by Janet Evanovich
Deerskin by Robin McKinley
Summer of my German Soldier by Bette Greene
Ariel by Steven R. Boyett

The Sugar Queen by Sarah Addison Allen
Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen
The Dream-Maker's Magic by Sharon Shinn
The Crown of Dalemark by Diana Wynne Jones (she gave this as a freebie! Thanks Maricar!)
Also, one of my most anticipated titles for 2010 was released last week:
I was already planning on getting Mockingjay in spite of my self-imposed book ban but luckily, I won a free copy from Jason of Taking a Break. Thank you so much, Jason! I finished reading this last night and I've had discussions with several people. I plan to post about it this week.
