Academic Rules
we have some issues with classroom rules. Here is my personal take, feedback is appreciated.
1. Students joining classes are responsable for the current assignment and none before. They should not get credit for doing backwork (that will become crazy I promise!),
2. they are responsable for all material covered on tests
3. Have a clear system for how you keep track of the students registered and give yourselves a clear grace period to avoid complaints (like at the end of each week new students will be updated).
4. post correct answers to assignments so students can see where they go wrong
5. You should not have friends only journals, if students need to contact you personally, you need to be available, some things are better dealt with in private, outside of the community

sad but true: NUMBER ONE RULE OF BEING A FACULTY MEMBER: always cover your ass cuz no matter how much you try, you will will be kicked where its not.
