Points are now posted! Thanks to all that completed the opening assignment!
For those of you who didn't complete the assignment (there were only two, I believe), you have until midnight ET to complete it and still get full credit! After that, you can still turn it in until Friday, July 21st, but as it would be turned in late I will only reward your House two points. Assignments turned in after the 21st will NOT be accepted!
As I was grading the assignments, I came across quite a few very interesting suggestions that didn't even occur to me to use in the curriculum when I was starting the class. So I decided that for the entries that posed a unique or novel suggestion, an extra two points will be rewarded. So congratulations to missleila, theweezerlover9, wildknight_20, ireneadler, chriancar, and destroyah_des for winning two extra points apiece to their respective House! Keep up the good work!
Now that the introductory assignment is over, we will go into more complex assignments that will be worth more points. I will try as hard as I can to have the first real assignment posted tomorrow. I hope to have a consistent assignment schedule. Right now I'm planning on doing the assignments a week apart, but as you all are aware I can't promise anything. Try to expect at least one assignment every week!
