Hello friends, And welcome to another edition of Uncle Kippers corner where we discuss any issue that we want to.

Todays Edition: The car tuner culture.

Ok well me and my friend C-low M-Dito had a discussion on the way back from the Clockwork. Our disussion was about asshole people who down others because there not as good as someone else in a hobbie. This discussion brings me to the topic of the car tuner enthusiests. I have been guilty of bagging on other peoples rides. like "who would mod that peice of shit" or "Why waste money on that ugly ride". In the end i have come to the conclusion that to say things to other people about the kind of car or kind of mod there doing to there car is stupid or gay is not the right thing to do. Instead of bagging on someones choice of car or mod try to be mature and have an intelligent conversation about there ride and give advice or tips on how to do it better, or even learn from them!

2 days ago at lunch time I was pulling out of McRonalds and heading back to work to eat my lunch, as I pulled on to M-59 in the middle lane a blue 2002 cavalier blew by me, it had dual exhaust and was lowered with a side decal on it, now i had seen this car during the summer and thought that it was probably just some asshole kid who likes to rev his engine at me from across the intersection. well anyways i decided to get a closer look at this cavalier since this was the first time we were actually on the same road going in the same direction, so i sped up and we kind of played tag for half a mile, well he pulls in to kroger which is where i was going also i thought "great" this asshole is probably going to say something to me about my car or bagg on mine. well i was srong he parked and i parked a couple of space away from him, we both got out of our cars and to my suprise it was a guy in his mid 30's who was married! stereotypically people think that when they see a modded car its a young punk ass like myself. well me and this guy had a very good conversation about cavaliers and how much fun they can be when there modded, we talked about what we had done to our cars and the plans we had for them and the troubles we had run into while modding them. I was thrilled to talk to another person who shared the same love for the J-body as i did (FYI, J-body is the term used to describe a cavalier, because that is the chassis platform GM uses for the sunfire and cavalier) all in all the point being is if two people are into the same thing dont bag on them for what they got, talk to them and progress your hobbie instead of creating tension an embarrasement. this goes with everything not just cars but any hobbie. If i had a rediculously sweet car and i went to a car show with it, i would park next to the group of people that didnt have the same luxery of affording a really nice car just to make the statment that "Hey I have a Ferrari and this guy has a geo metro, and he can park next to me anytime, because we both love the automobile"

Thank you friends and stay tuned for another edition of Uncle kippers corner!
