The Lease

Apr 20, 2010 00:03

I ended up working last night from 7pm-3am at the library. I then slept till 11am today. During the course of the day, Danny and I  visited Residential Services, Financial Aid, the Bursar's Office, Chase Bank, Key Bank, Value City Furniture, Sam's Club, and, most importantly, THE RENTAL OFFICE! We signed the lease on our new apartment! Aaahhh!!! I'm ridiculously excited and terrified by this development. Either way, we're set to move in on May 1st, at which time we'll probably paint and move in our as yet acquired furniture before moving in ourselves since we can stay in the dorms till mid-May. Today was long, stressful, and awesome. Don't look forward to repeating it anytime soon, but glad to have done it once.

Happy News: The entire series of Buffy has been put on Instant Play on Netflix, so I don't have to wait for them to send me the individual disk anymore! Huzzah!

Wayne said I should talk about sandwiches (or as we pronounce them "samiches"), so I'll share with you my current favorite sandwich! At Eastway Market, you can get a Pretzel Roll, which is essentially a pretzel shaped like a hamburger bun. I get one of those with Provolone and Colby Cheese, then Romaine Lettuce, a bunch of tomatoes, and mayonnaise. Yummsies!!

I love Hank Green. In this video, he basically says everything I've been telling people since I went to an astronomy center in the 6th grade.

Well done, Hank!

2 minutes late! Sorry!
