Heroes of Cybertron Cliffjumper and Windcharger

So today I finally got the chance to go to the Boulevard Mall and spend my gift card that Uncle Justin gave me for Christmas. Now I know the KayBee there absolutely sucks, but I decided to poke around possibly to see if they had any McFarlane's Dragons figures. They didn't have any good ones, and on my way out I spotted the bargain keychain section. There was a Movie Bumblebee keyring I already own, the LED Autobot symbol one I got a few weeks ago, and then some Heroes of Cybertron Minibot keychains.

There was no Bumblebee or Brawn, but I did manage to get Cliffjumper (left) and Windcharger (right) for about $3 apiece.

Now, Cliffjumper is pretty nice given that he comes from a mold that's been around longer than I have. His wheels are actually rubber, he has chromed parts, and the only difference from his 1980's release is the fact he has a little plastic ring molded onto his rear bumper. My only gripe is the fact his feet don't lock when you pull them down, and he often topples over.

Windcharger is a character I know nothing about, but I felt like grabbing him anyway. He turns into some sort of red car, his legs are all chrome, and his arms have pretty decent articulation. Like Cliffjumper his only update is the plastic ring on his front bumper.

He's not really spectacular, and his feet are a real pain to deal with. I have him currently propped against Alt. Smokescreen because he falls over so often. Still, I'm more glad than disappointed he's in my collection. He's the 166th Transformer I own.

So his head is completely affixed to his body and car parts. At least he's much easier to position and handle than his fellow Minibot. I dig him. Windcharger's the 167th Transformer I've acquired.
