TheJugglingWriter.com Turns Two

Over 250 entries and two years later, I feel like I'm hitting a good stride with The Juggling Writer. Over the next year, I hope to do more video. In honor of entering the terrible twos, there is knife juggling. Oh yes, there's a knife...

I've always viewed LiveJournal as a blogging platform more than a social media platform. And I said I was taking a break from Facebook, Twitter, and Google+. I still check LinkedIn every day or two and some other things that have never sucked up my time.

Facebook is really the big time suck, and it's the social media site I most dislike. I miss Google+, and I do miss being in touch with some people on Facebook. But I don't miss the political postings, the "If you don't post this as your status for an hour, you believe it's okay to eat babies and you're a cheerleader for cancer!" stuff ;)

Now, I HAVE thought about going on Facebook and posting the link to The Juggling Writer Facebook page. I don't even remember if I mentioned that I'm taking a break on The Juggling Writer Facebook page.

But breaking my vow by posting here? Nope, because it was all about Facebook, Google+, and Twitter.

(Oh, and I'm now planning to go 100 days instead of the original 30, which ended up 50. So it will be late November/early December before I'm back.)

Hope all's snazzy with you, Tatiana, and Sullivan! Things are groovy, here.

Things are pretty darned good. Life in the new house is excellent. We've been sick, though so that was a drag.

Ok, So, I'll post on theFacebook that you hate everyone twice as much as you planned on hating them. I'm sure they'll understand.

Yeah, I hate a lot of that stupid posting stuff, too, but I hide the most egregious offenders. I'm finding I'm using Facebook less and less. Now I'm just scanning pretty quickly, posting even more rarely, etc.

You missed a nice time at Marks last night. Weldon, Curt, Mark and I played a Back to the Future card game that has a nice level of screw the other guy. Good times.

take care
