I had a dream about Mount Rainier last night.
I was stuck in a snow storm near the summit by myself. I dug a snow cave and waited things out.
While chilling in the cave, the mountain shook. Mount Rainier is a volcano.
Anyway, the mountain shook and I left the snow cave.
The weather had cleared, but the entire far side of the mountain had caved in, like Mount St. Helens. The wind took all the ash and gas to the far side of the mountain, though; I was safe.
The blast split the mountain, but the summit was still there. Some of the glacier near the summit was melting, and a muddy waterfall made it’s way down the far side of the section of the mountain still standing. It was still snow and ice around me.
The logical thing to do: get off the mountain as fast as I could.
But I didn’t. With the mountain still erupting, I climbed.
I made it to the summit and looked down where the rest of the mountain once was.
I felt invincible and strong.
It was a cool dream.
