I'm Hopefully Back
I know I've been absent from here for a long time and I'm truly sorry. I hope to catch up on fics because I know that they are a lot of work and it's a gift that they are shared with us.
As most of you know, my husband died. His official date of death is July 2, 2012. He was in Hawaii so the kids, my parents, and I flew over for a memorial and the start of getting the affairs in order. We had a funeral and burial here as well. I'm elbow deep in paperwork, but am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Prior to the death, my youngest son was a victim of a violent crime. We were in the middle of dealing with that when my husband disappeared. The guys who did it have a court date on 9/24. On one hand I want them to plead out so my son doesn't have to testify, but on the other hand, I want them to go to prison for a very long time.
Anyway, I'm hoping to get my life back to some sort of normalcy soon. I appreciate all the love and support I've received so far.
