We all have one of those days where you just want to hang your head at the complete idiocy of individuals. Let me begin by explaining my mind-set. First off, today is payday, which is usually a good day, but not when your check is missing all the OT that I worked, so that put me in a sour mood to begin with. Next, on my way home this past evening one of my housemates ordered pizza, that in and of itself is innocuous, but when the delivery driver parks in the driveway leaving me no way to pull in, that's enough to get your blood boiling. I sat there for 5-7 mins waiting for him to move, and when he was getting ready to leave he looked at me and still took his time. He's lucky I didn't do what I was thinking of doing...parking right behind him while I unloaded my car. Would have been poetic justice, but I just wanted to relax for a bit before I had to head back to work. I know that this applies to everywhere, but it never ceases to confound me at the ineptness of some drivers, and yes I put myself in this category as well because I did something stupid as well, but I'll get to that in a minute. Just a thought, but if you are going to turn right into a Walgreens, could you PLEASE not turn from the outside left lane!!! Call me crazy, but I've already been in an accident this year and I think that's enough for one decade. Not to mention, when you're driving at night turn on your lights!!! I got pulled over for that earlier this evening. I wasn't speeding, even though I usually do, but I was leaving the check cashing place and I forgot to turn on my lights. So I'm heading down the road, pulled into a fast food places drive thru, when I looked behind me and saw a state trooper with his lights blinking and pulling me over. I was trying to figure out why he was and I looked at my dash board, it was dark. For those of you who know me, I slapped my forehead with my palm and shook my own head in disbelief. When the trooper came to the window I apologized and said that I knew why he pulled me over, I gave him my license and he let me off with a warning. Yes I was lucky, but I felt like a world class idiot, but hey, we all make mistakes. So, how am I now that my night is almost over and I'm ready to go home? Not too bad, but I really have to get my paycheck corrected and I'd like to get a good night's rest. We'll see which I get first, my money is on the rest...oh well, c'est la vie'. There is more to my story, but I'm trying to be more positive...it's almost the weekend!!! So until next time gentle reader’s peace, love, and happiness and as always keep in touch.
