On Individuality;

I am not so different from you, even though we don't look the same.
I wonder what would happen if we did.
I hear peoples ideas, wha tid they were all the same?
I want to keep them different.
I am not so different form you, even though we don't look the same.

I pretend to agree with people, even though I shuldn't have to.
I feel too many shades of gray.
I touch the surface of insecurity.
I worry It's getting too big.
I cry for people stuck in others thoughts.
I am not so different from you, even though we don't look the same.

I understand people have role models.
I say you don't have to turn into them.
I dream one day they will be their own person.
I try to be one myself.
I hope we are all individual.
