What an amazing night last night was. I worked at the club and we had World Impact Wrestling, which is deffinatly not what the club normally brings in. We took the stage out and put in a makeshift ring. But the thing is all the wrestlers are christians they put on a show and then talk about their walks with Jesus. It was deffinatly a powerful piece. I talk with two of the wrestlers after the show.
Cody: He gave his testimony for the first time in public and a thing that really stuck out to me was "we should fear God more then we fear man" So true!!! It goes back to what Josh and I were talking about a few weeks ago why am I so scared to share a piece of myself with people? There is NOTHING to be afraid of! Cody and I talked about how he will be wrestling on monday at Raw and that God has a divine purpose for him and he is going to touch someone whether it be in the audience, or in the locker room or just in passing. God is using him in that place for a reason, praise Jesus! Please keep Cody in your prayers that God will shine thorugh him and protect him and he goes out to fight the good fight.
Luna: Unfortunatly I didn't get to chat with her, but God is working through her. A week ago, she attempted to committ pain upon herself by puting 28 staples into her arm. But God SAVED HER! Becuase he LOVES her so much! We all fall at some point, satan grabs a hold of us and he just wont let go and we sometimes give in. But the amazing part?? the Amazing part is that Jesus loves us no matter what, he walks over to us picks us up and holds us forever. I don't know about you guys, but that is so amazing to me! Someone can love me so much, through all my faults, troubles, pain, sorrow hes always there.
2 Corinthians 4:16 "that is why we never give up, Christians we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are quite small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us an immeasurable great glory that will last forever! So we don't look at the troubles we can see right now; rather we look forward to what we have not yet seen. For the troubles we see will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever."
Johnny: Wow did God ever use him to get my attention last night. For those of you who read my earlier post God revealed to me that I was suppose to read the book "Son of a Preacher Man" by Jay Bakker. God reminded me again last night why I was suppose to read that book, Johnny brought it up! If thats not God saying "listen to me" then I don't know what is. Johnny started to tell me how God was using him and just amazing things. It came out to me that I am suppose to do music ministry! When the opportunity arises I will drop everything and follow it! This is something that I would not have said or even thought of a few days ago. Johnny said its written all over my face that music ministry is a passion of mine, no one has ever said that to me before. Something so passionette of mine is written all over me, thats so God!
God never ceases to amaze me!
