another update
Things are going somewhat better with my Dad now. He came home today from the hospital and is recovering in the comfort of his own home. After just being in the hospital to visit him, I can only imagine how much more confortable it is being in his own bed, own house. Those rooms are so small and its never quiet around there.
His is still getting fevers, I think the reality of that is the cancer isn't gone, so those aren't going to be either. He sounded good overall though, and for what he is going through, thats a plus for sure.
We are headed back there friday night. Not sure what the plans are while we are there as I am not sure if my stepmom is going to be going out of town still or not. If she is, we will be "babysitting" my Dad. It will give me some more quality time with him though, which will be nice. It was nice to get so much of that in the last couple of weeks.
Not much else going on here. We are going golfing after work with Amy (my co-worker) and her boyfriend Steve on Wednesday. That should be fun, Greg and Steve can get a good laugh out of watching us play.
