It was about then that Zack stuck his head through the door, peering around it curiously and sussing out the contents of the pub. He hadn't been here since that one time with Matt, and he hadn't seen the guy since.
And then he saw Cloud, looking like he'd just woken up sitting at a table not too far away. Grinning, Zack stepped on over, coming to fall heavily into the seat across from his friend. "Morning sunshine," he grinned.
Cloud looked up from his phone, mildly surprised. "Zack!" His good mood was strong enough for him to smile and he nodded a good-morning return to his friend.
