Ivanova walked out, making a mental map of the surrounding area. Floor after floor of the same, although sparsely populated, it was made to contain quite a few prisoners, specimens, recruits, whatever...
No windows, no sky, no sense of where the building might be. The technology was all familiar, all human-looking. But she was uncertain. Unsure why she was the only on from her time, and everyone else she met was from so long ago, like this was some kind of obscene collection. She inspected the walls from time to time, looking for a maintenance panel, something of the like, and found none.
How infuriating.
